During her studies at the University of Birmingham, where she met members of Charlie and the Funk Factory, Harriet has continued her love for music, featuring as lead vocalist in party band The Notochords, as well as undertaking lead roles in numerous musical theatre productions and choirs.

Katy Gaskin is one of the top young singers in the UK; captivating audiences across the pop, soul, Motown and jazz worlds with equal measure.

Multi-talented Luke has been an integral part of the band on two different instruments. Now our virtuoso tenor sax player, Luke started out as the drummer for Charlie and the Funk Factory in its first two years. During that time, Luke found a love for composition and arranging, which he developed on his year abroad in Canada, re-scoring one of his original Funk Factory arrangements for big band.

Since then, Luke’s main interests have been jazz drumming and contemporary composition. Most recently, Luke was awarded the 2018 Dankworth Prize for Jazz Composition, and is currently studying for a Masters in Jazz Percussion at the Royal Academy of Music.
